What is Veeramani Run?
Veeramani Run is a free, fast and funny endless runner that plays directly in your web browser. You control Veeramani, dressed in a navy three-piece suit and tie, as he sprints across a sunny battlefield, jumping over army tanks, dodging their bullets and ducking under bombs. It needs no download, no account and no payment, and it runs on almost any phone, tablet or computer.
Why we made it
Veeramani is a social media personality known on Instagram as @veeramani_121. His face is instantly recognisable to many people, and we wanted to create something light-hearted that fans could enjoy and share. A simple runner game felt like the perfect fit: everyone already knows how to play one, and putting a familiar face in an absurd situation, a man in his best suit outrunning a tank, makes people smile.
Veeramani is always the hero of the game. He never does anything embarrassing or unkind, he simply keeps running and keeps getting back up. The game is meant as a friendly tribute.
A fan-made tribute
Veeramani Run is an unofficial, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Veeramani. We respect his image and his work. If you are Veeramani, or you represent him, and you would like anything in the game changed or removed, please get in touch through our contact page and we will respond promptly.
How the game is built
We wanted the game to work for as many people as possible, including those on older, cheaper phones and slow mobile connections. That shaped every technical decision.
- HTML5 canvas. The game is drawn with standard web technology that every modern browser supports, so there is nothing to install.
- Shapes instead of heavy images. The sky, hills, ground, tanks, bombs and Veeramani's body are drawn from simple shapes each frame. Only his face is a photo. This keeps the download tiny and the drawing fast.
- A real running animation. Rather than flicking between two fixed pictures, Veeramani's legs and arms are animated with a simple skeleton. His knees bend on the forward swing, his body bobs as each foot lands, and his stride quickens as the game speeds up.
- Sound with no audio files. The jump, gunshot, explosion and score sounds are created live by your browser using the Web Audio API, so there are no sound files to download.
- Sharp on every screen. The game measures your screen and draws at its full resolution, from small phones to large monitors.
- Small and fast. The complete game page is a few hundred kilobytes, smaller than a typical phone photo.
Privacy
The game itself collects nothing about you. Your best score is saved in a small cookie on your own device and is never sent to us. Your sound on/off choice is saved the same way.
Like most free websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, and Google AdSense to show advertising that pays for hosting. These services may use cookies. You can read more in our privacy policy, and you can manage personalised advertising in your Google account settings.
Accessibility
We have tried to make the website as accessible as we can. The pages work with screen readers, all buttons can be reached with the keyboard, colours meet contrast guidelines, and animations are reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion. The game uses only two actions, jump and duck, which can be performed with the keyboard, a mouse click or large on-screen buttons. We know fast reaction games are not for everyone, and we welcome suggestions for making it more inclusive.
Family friendly
Veeramani Run is cartoon-style. There is no blood, no realistic violence, no chat with strangers, no accounts and no in-game purchases. A crash simply ends the run with a sound effect and a funny pose. As with any screen time, we recommend short sessions and regular breaks, especially for younger players.
Credits
Veeramani Run is inspired by the much-loved offline dinosaur game in Google Chrome, and its core running engine is adapted from that open-source game by the Chromium authors. The character, obstacles, artwork, animation, sound and website were created for Veeramani Run.
Version history
- October 2026: Veeramani Run launches with tanks, tank bullets, bombs, a full running animation, synthesised sound effects, touch controls and score sharing.
